Pippita Bennett

Pippita Bennett is a contemporary textile artist based in Katoomba. Inspired by the landscapes she explores, Pippita captures her experiences through stitched landscapes, creating intricate, tactile representations of place. Working with natural dyes, she gathers plants to infuse her threads and fabrics with the colours of the land, embedding nature itself into her work. Whether stitching by the fire with a cup of tea or tracing the lines of trees, rocks, and animal prints with needle and thread, her process is one of deep observation and connection.
